Overnight Camp

You may attend 5 Overnight Camps per year.  Each time you attend you're placed in a different ship.

For over 18 years the space center has been holding successful, inexpensive, and very popular overnight camps. The tradition continues this summer with new stories!

Arrive at the space center between 6:45 and 7:00 P.M. the first night. Report to your ships to begin your mission. At 11 P.M., there is a short snack break. Lights out at 11:30 P.M. The mission continues the next morning at 7:30 after a light breakfast. The camp ends at 10 A.M. that morning.

EdVenture Camp 

  • 3 days and 2 nights
  • 14 Hours of Simulator EdVentures.
  • Five hours in a Hands On Science Class.

Arrival: 7:00 P.M. on day one. Departure: 3:00 P.M. on day 3. All meals are included.

Enjoy all new missions and make new friends in our EdVenture Center - the only one of its kind on Earth where Science and Science Fiction combine in such a unique way to create a never to be forgotten experience. It will truly be unforgettable!

Ultimate Camp:  Camps Full

Arrival: 7:00 P.M. on day one. Departure: 10:00 A.M. on day four. All meals are included.

An Ultimate Camp joins a regular EdVenture Camp with an Overnight Camp.  A three hour mission and supper fill the time between the end of the EdVenture Camp and the start of the Overnight Camp. Experience all new stories and make new friends. Participate in five simulated space flights. It will truly be an unforgettable experience!

Leadership Camp 2010

  • Complex Mission unique to this camp
  • All 5 simulators working towards the same goal

Join us for the ultimate leadership experience!  This summer, for the first time ever, you have the chance to take part in a unique "campaign" story.  This adventure takes our camps to a new extreme.  With all stories building on each other, increased mission complexity, and non-stop excitement, the stakes are higher than ever.

With an emphasis on decision making, communication, teamwork, and problem solving, you will be given the chance to build essential leadership skills in an engaging, hands on way.  The interconnection between stories found in this camp cannot be found in any others offered by the Space Center. Can you handle to the pressure?

Action, adventure, and loads of fun!  Arrive at the Space Center at 5 P.M. to board the USS Voyager for a mission 
that will last till 10 A.M. the next morning with only a short sleeping break at 2:00 A.M.

Day Camp  Camp Full

Come experience our simulators and EdVentures during the day and return home to share them at night with your family and friends! Day Camp runs each day from 9 A.M. until 2:30 P.M. Bring your own lunch.

This camp includes three missions in our simulators and a fun, hands on workshop experience taught by our excellent Space Center teachers.

Junior Space Mission (Ages 7-9) 

The Space Center offers special group missions for our youngest space cadets. This program is held in the Odyssey Simulator.  The simulator holds seven to nine children. The Junior Mission lasts two hours. The mission places the students hundreds of years in the future aboard a starship on duty with Earth Command. The space missions are designed to teach space science concepts using drama, music, and alien encounters in an interactive, team building, problem solving atmosphere. Your child becomes a main character in an exciting, unforgettable Space EdVenture!  Junior Group Missions are booked by telephone only.  Please call the Center at 801.785.8713.
