Overnight Camp

You may attend 5 Overnight Camps per year.  Each time you attend you're placed in a different ship.  

• All Overnight Missions October to May are reserved for schools.  Public Overnight Camps are open for registration.  There are occasional openings on school overnight camps during the school year.  They are advertised on the Space Center's Blog.  Read the blog weekly for openings.  http://voyagerslog.blogspot.com/

For over 18 years the space center has been holding successful, inexpensive, and very popular overnight camps. The tradition continues this summer with new stories!

Arrive at the space center between 6:45 and 7:00 P.M. the first night. Report to your ships to begin your mission. At 11 P.M., there is a short snack break. Lights out at 11:30 P.M. The mission continues the next morning at 7:30 after a light breakfast. The camp ends at 10 A.M. that morning.

EdVenture Camp

Arrival: 7:00 P.M. on day one. Departure: 4:00 P.M. on day 3. All meals are included.

Experience all new stories and make new friends. Participate in simulated space flights in three of our five simulators. Day two, take a break with a swimming field trip and movie night chaperoned by our excellent staff. It will truly be an unforgettable experience!

Ultimate Camp

Arrival: 7:00 P.M. on day one. Departure: 10:00 A.M. on day four. All meals are included.

An Ultimate Camp joins a regular EdVenture Camp with an Overnight Camp.  A three hour mission and supper fill the time between the end of the EdVenture Camp and the start of the Overnight Camp. Experience all new stories and make new friends. Participate in five simulated space flights. It will truly be an unforgettable experience!

Leadership Camp 2010

Join us for the ultimate leadership experience!  This summer, for the first time ever, you have the chance to take part in a unique "campaign" story.  This adventure takes our camps to a new extreme.  With all stories building on each other, increased mission complexity, and non-stop excitement, the stakes are higher than ever.

With an emphasis on decision making, communication, teamwork, and problem solving, you will be given the chance to build essential leadership skills in an engaging, hands on way.  The interconnection between stories found in this camp cannot be found in any others offered by the Space Center. Can you handle to the pressure?

Come experience our simulators and EdVentures during the day and return home to share them at night with your family and friends! Day Camp runs each day from 9 A.M. until 2:30 P.M. Bring your own lunch.

This camp includes three missions in our simulators and a fun, hands on workshop experience taught by our excellent Space Center teachers.

Super Saturdays.  School Year 2009-2010.

Spend an exciting, fun filled Saturday at the Space Center! Campers will be go on board one of our simulators for a Non-Stop Five-Hour EdVenture!

Academy Classes.  School Year 2009-2010. Register Now.

 The Space Center offers five different courses taught at different times during the school year. The Academy Classes are a great way to earn class hours toward the Space Center's ranking system.  Each course is taught independent of the others and will satisfy the requirements for the applicable Boy Scout Merit Badges. To earn the merit badge homework will be necessary.  The Academy Classes are open to boys and girls ages 10 to 16.  Classes last 90 minutes.  Students must attend all the dates listed.  Classes begin at 6:30 P.M.  

• Astronomy.  Dates:  October 22, 29 and November 5,12.  Tuition: $20.00   Full
• Nuclear Science.  Dates:  November 3, 10, 17, and 24.  Tuition:  $20.00   Full
• Aviation.  Dates:  January 6, 13, 20, and 27, and February 3.  Tuition:  $23.00   Full
