Private Group ProgramsLooking for that awesome and easy party idea? The Space Center's Private Missions are the answer. It's like stepping into a space movie and you are the crew!
Private missions at the Space Center come in three lengths.- 2.5 hours - The Basic Mission. Ages 10 and up.
- 3 hours - For crews wanting a bit more time for training and problem solving. Ages 10 and up.
- June / July. All 2.5 hour missions listed on the calendar can be extended to three hours by request when using the online reservation system. August - May. Request a 3 Hour Mission when making your reservation.
- 5 hours - Our most challenging missions. The 5 hour missions are used for Overnight Camps as well. Ages 10 and up.
- June / July. Five Hour Mission are created by booking two 2.5 hour time slots back to back as shown on the Calendar. August - May. Five Hour Missions can be booked Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursdays at 4:00 P.M. only. Five Hour Missions are available on Saturdays if the simulator is open at 11:30 A.M. AND 2:30 P.M. Once again, refer to the online calendar. Food is not provided. Groups may bring sack lunches.
- 2 hours - Junior Group Mission. Ages 7 - 9. Cost $105.00 for seven to nine participants. Nine children is the maximum number. Mission length, 2 hours. Junior Group Programs are booked by telephone only. Please call the Center at 801.785.8713.
To book a private mission please follow these simple steps. - Read the information on simulators and pricing belowl
- Select the simulator and mission length that meets your needs.
- Click here (If using internet explorer, popups must be enabled.) to see our calendar for available dates and times. You may book up to three months in advance. For example, if you want a mission in December, it's calendar will be open for viewing October 1st. The January calendar will be online for viewing on November 1st and so on.
- Once you have your ship, date, and time selected, click here to make an online reservation or you may call the Center at 801-785-8713 to speak to a member of our staff. ALERT! Your Mission Confirmation may be classified as Spam by your email carrier. YOUR MISSION CONFIRMATION MAY NOT REACH YOUR IN BOX. If you don't receive a return email within 24 Hours PLEASE check your Spam Folder and Trash. If you can't find our email PLEASE CALL! All Private Mission Requests are answered within 24 hours.
Parents are not required to stay while their group is involved in a Private Mission. Our simulators are staffed by Alpine School District employees and monitored by cameras throughout the entire EdVenture! Directions: Coming from SLC. Take I 15 South to Exit 275. At the end of the off ramp turn left onto Pleasant Grove Blvd. Pleasant Grove Blvd. will turn into Center Street. Continue on Center Street to 400 East. Look for Central Elementary School. The Space Center is inside the school.
Coming from Provo. Take I 15 North to Exit 275. At the end of the off ramp turn right onto Pleasant Grove Blvd. Pleasant Grove Blvd. will turn into Center Street. Continue on Center Street to 400 East. Look for Central Elementary School. The Space Center is inside the school.
Coming from Orem. North on State Street to the traffic light at 300 East Pleasant Grove (Look for a McDonalds and Smith's Food on your left). Turn right and go to Center Street. Turn Right. Go one block. The school will be on your left.
