The year is 2384. Humans have come a long way since the launch of the first satellites in the 1950's. We are exploring deep space, looking to understand the mysteries of the universe. The United Federation of Planets, also called the Federation, is our space nation. The Federation has 150 planets that joined together to create a nation based on freedom and democracy. Earth is the capital. Starfleet is the military and exploration branch of the UFP. Your ship, the USS Voyager, is a Starfleet ship. Starfleet's primary job is to explore new regions of the galaxy, to find new life and new civilizations. |
